But there is something that even you should be mindful of when you are dealing with your child's relationship with technology. And that thing is the internet is not a bad thing that would destroy your child's present or future. The Internet is a medium, a tool using which we can obtain desired outcomes. This basically means no control is out of our hands. We can always make things better with a balanced approach towards them. If your child is within the age range of 3 to 10. You can always limit the screen time and make sure you have settings on the internet that do not let them see anything they are not supposed to see. For example Google Chrome has a safe search option. When it comes to children who are 11 to 16 then you can mutually set some ground rules with your child that both of you are not allowed to break. At the same time you can always limit their screen time while you give them privacy. But in case you see signs of any online predator or shady person around them. You can always and extra mile to make sure that you are child is no wear near the threat.
