Sometimes it is much more than that wanting the best for your child is instilling the right values in them. It is to explain to your children the importance of appreciating what they already have. Children are very impressionable beings because of which they tend to learn a lot through the way their parents interact with the world.

So if you want to give your children the best thing this world can offer then teach them the importance of values like gratitude, love, care, respect, and compassion. This will make them better people and give them skills they would need to be happy for the rest of their lives.

This would give them a better worldview. Which in retrospect would help them become people they actually aspire to be. If you really want to love your child, tell them that their worth doesn't only lie in their looks, talents or academic rigour.

They are worthy of believing in themselves. No matter how society views them. And if you are not the reason why your child is not kind to themselves then you have really done the best you could have.
