Making kids feel heard

For any child to be able to communicate their needs, it is very important for them to be heard.

It is the parents' responsibility to make sure that their kids feel comfortable enough to communicate their feelings across. Because if one can't communicate their feelings as a child it is very difficult for them to function properly as adults.

One of the best ways you can make your child feel heard is actually listening to them. A lot of times we adults might look over children's issues dismissing them as trivial. But in a child's world those issues are big and serious, making them feel invalidated is not the way to help them in the long run.

This will not only help your bond with your children but also, help your children function as healthy adults in the society.
