Water is an essential to life despite this a lot of us end up dehydrated. In a time like pregnancy, hydration plays a crucial role in keeping the metabolism healthy. It is also beneficial for one's gut health, blood circulation, skin and fatigue etc.
Maintaining a healthy sleep schedule
Sleeping is as necessary as eating and drinking water. If our brain isn't well rested enough. It would not only affect our productivity but also our mental health as a whole. During pregnancy our body and mind changes so much, so soon. Which is why we really need sleep to keep up with the changes.
Limiting screen time
In today's world we already spend a lot of time on our devices. For an average adult, work occupies almost 40 percent of their screen time if they're working in the IT industry, Educational institutions, Corporations and MNCs etc. During pregnancy rest is an absolute necessity. But due to the increased screen time, issues like fatigue and posture related pains are rampant.
Maintaining a healthy relationship with alcohol and caffeine
Regardless of what we do and where we come from, a person's relationship with alcohol or caffeine is highly influenced by a lot of factors. And it is unrealistic to expect pregnant women to completely give up on everything. Since, withdrawal symptoms aren't the best during pregnancy. But sometimes due to any health conditions people are not allowed to during their pregnancy. In case there's no such obligations, one can always enjoy their occasional dose of caffeine and alcohol.
