Make the morning rush bearable along with the kids

Following are some tips to help you get out of the right side of the bed and kick-start your mornings with a calmer and more positive outlook

Not all of us hate mornings, but it’s fair to say that they are not everyone’s favourite time of the day. You often need to be in a rush, or you are still sleepy and even grumpy. If you are a morning person, then you probably wouldn’t need any hacks to cope with your morning routine, but the average person sure does. Let’s face it – most of us are not in our regular human form before we even had our first cup of coffee.

  • Make a good night’s sleep a priority

Even before we start with the day, we have to focus on the night. Getting restful sleep every night is essential not just for our little ones, but you too! Make sure that you are getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep every night.

  • Create a routine

Creating a routine is exceptionally helpful in all parts of your life, as it helps you in staying more organized. You should divide your morning routine into different time schedules and assign different activities during those schedules.

  • Determine what sucks

Whether it’s your kid’s bathtime, or his habit of watching  TV while having breakfast, determine what is it that’s sucking and taking off your time and energy. Try to find solutions to your problems and get your problem fixed.

  • Bring the fun into it

Your mornings need not be dull because of a lot of work that needs to be done. You can always look for ways to energise yourself and your kids in the morning like you can play a song during bathtime.

  • Prep the night before

One of the most straightforward methods is to prep for the tasks at night before sleeping. You can prep for the breakfast that needs to be prepared in the morning, lay out the clothes to be worn, and keep all the essentials handy which will reduce your number of tasks in the morning.

  • Let it go

If things aren’t going the way you planned like your little one is taking longer time to brush their teeth, o you forgot to add strawberries to your children’s cereal bowl, that’s okay. Don’t stress over the details and how things didn’t turn out perfectly.

There is always tomorrow.
