It is very important to keep a track on what you are doing with your skin before, during and after pregnancy.
Here is a checklist that you can follow and see if you are doing the right things for your skin or not if not then it might be a wake up call for you:-
- You cleanse your face twice daily.
- You make sure you don't dehydrate yourself.
- You eat fruits at least once a day.
- You use vitamin C and retinol on your face. If not that then an equally effective face serum.
- You remove your makeup before sleeping.
- You regularly clean your makeup brushes and beauty blenders.
- You don't pop your pimples and let it heal.
- You regularly apply sunscreen regardless of the season.
- You are aware of the stuff you put on your face rather than mindlessly buying skin care and makeup.
- Visit a dermatologist at least once every 6 months.
Purpose is not for you to feel bad about yourself. it is for you to ask yourself if you are really prioritising yourself. For a long time skin care has been deemed as something for the shallow. But if you don't care about the largest organ on your body then do you really care about yourself?
