But before we explore more about the concept, first let's learn what’s a daycare!

so basically a daycare centre is a place where people usually drop their kids off during the day ( hence the name). where the centres provide children with care, supervision and oftentimes learning. Now that we have that out of our way, we can discuss another important question around Day Care that is. For how many hours does my child need to stay in the daycare?  so usually it is between 20 to 25 hours a week. which means seven to eight hours a day, minus the weekends. There are also cases where it depends on the requirement of the caregiver. so before going for any kind of Day Care facilities. You can first try to understand how many hours you are away from the child. and when you know what you need out of a daycare. Then you can easily find a daycare that caters to your needs. So when you know the answers to these questions, the next one that comes up naturally is, what are the pros to going to a daycare. Answer to this question is really simple. your child gets to interact with a lot of kids their own age, and sometimes socialisation does help in the growth of a child's cognitive functions. Not just that it helps them develop empathy, which is a very important value in life. A lot of daycare also provide learning services for the child which means they also learn additional skills required for their development. Now, all of these do sound good enough reasons to send your child to a daycare. But what about the cons? Here are a few cons to sending your child to a daycare. Just the fact that daycare cannot be afforded by everyone. Yes, there are a few more affordable options. but then it takes a lot more research to ensure that you're putting your child in safe hands or not. One of the biggest risks of sending your kids to a daycare would be, that no one can predict what will be the reaction to the daycare. And in such cases a lot of times parents have to take their kids out of daycare. A very practical con of daycare is, the thing that  if your child's immune system is not that developed then they may fall more sick. In comparison to other kids, they happen to come in contact with.

And now that you know pros and cons as well as the concept of Day Care. It is very important for both the child and caregivers that the daycare they find is compatible with their needs. So whenever you find a daycare, maximum compatibility is something that you need to search for.
