Importance of etiquettes in a child's overall development.

We live in a world where everybody likes to believe chivalry is dead, but has it really met its end?

While some aspects of chivalry and etiquette can be deemed as problematic and rooted in patriarchal norms, others just make       you a decent person.

A lot of these etiquettes can be based on culture while others are universal. So they can also serve as your child's first interaction with your culture. One instance of this can be that in India we say  'नमस्ते ' whenever we greet our friends and family. When you teach this etiquette to your young one you not only help them be a better person. You also help them appreciate their culture more.

A lot of etiquettes that we're taught actually helps us become better people. Stuff like holding doors for people, using words like sorry and thank you or cleaning up after oneself teaches us the importance of accountability. When you teach your children manners and etiquettes you actually create global citizens who care about others around them.

We're the ones to always call this world a nasty place. If we don't become and create kind, responsible global citizens then there would be no scope of betterment in our future.
