Whether you are a new mum or even pregnant you can always experiment with layers. Layering is basically adding layers to your base clothing item. For example: pairing a shirt with a jacket or adding long shrugs to your dresses. a lot of people might think that this might not complement their figure. but the thing is that layers actually enhance the natural form of your body, by complimenting your curves. Rather than hiding the natural form of your body. and you can make so many different outfits using layers. Which makes it a very refreshing thing to consider while preparing your new wardrobe.
BALANCE COLOURS OF YOUR OUTFITS

It's really important for you to understand that basic colours like black and navy do have a slimming effect. But at the same time these colours can look really monotonous. Even if we keep the aesthetic aspect of it aside. We cannot ignore the fact. That these colours might add more emphasis to your baby bump rather than accentuating your natural form. Which is something we do not want here. So instead of just going with basic colours you can try to pair the basic colours with brighter ones. For example wearing navy blue Maternity leggings with a white oversized shirt. Would actually compliment your natural shape, rather than putting all all the attention on the baby bump.
MATERNITY CLOTHING IS ACTUALLY REALLY VERSATILE

There has always been a stigma around Maternity clothing. Mostly, all it has to offer is a Maxi dress. Which by the way is not true. In a country like ours where not all of us prefer wearing Western clothing. Maternity clothing can actually help women enjoy a more comfortable pregnancy and an even smoother Postpartum period. Because if you go for an actual Maternity bra, it can provide your body with a lot of comfort and support regardless of what you wear over it. Even with Maternity leggings you can easily pair it with any kind of kurta or shirt of your choice. And it would still work.
